Your pain is not who you are
Let's be honest, who is afraid of exercise? Who is scared to try something new because they've been in pain for so long?
Your pain is not who you are. Your pain is a part of your physical body. It may be restricting you, but don't let it run your life. You may be sitting doing nothing, just in case something makes you worse.
What if it did make you worse? How would you change that? What would be your plan of action? Would you use pain relievers, heat packs, ice packs, hot baths? What are you doing already to improve your pain?
What if I told you moving your body may in fact be beneficial. Increasing your strength may actually help your pain. I know this in itself may be challenging and you might not be ready to read this or you might not be ready to try these things. But whether you are a new mom suffering with low back pain, a former runner whose urinary incontinence has stopped them from reaching their goals or you've just retired from work and realize that lifting the laundry basket up and down the stairs is putting pressure on your back and hips.
I can assure you there are ways to improve these things. There's ways to get stronger. There's ways to reduce your pain. I'm here to help you improve those things. Whether that's online or in person, I'm happy to meet you where you are and help you progress.
Reach out to me by sending me a private message and we can set something up. Or if you have questions about what this means, reach out too, I am more than happy to be challenged.
